3D Akademie Stuttgart is a private institution focused on education and advanced training in
various 3D disciplines. It’s ensured that every student and participant receives constant
support by the team of experienced lecturers. All programs include relevant 3D knowledge

different software. The general study is structured in seven semesters with specialisation in

Centennial College has two programs related to VFX.
The Digital Visual Effects program is the only two-year college diploma offering of its kind in Ontario. Facilitated at Centennial College's Story Arts Centre, it will provide the students with the opportunity to master industry-standard techniques to produce the photo-realistic visual effects seen in films that would be impossible to capture with a live-action camera. In this diploma program's courses, the students will learn to work with the various aspects of the film making process and bring them together into a seamless final product, while also developing their skills in industry-standard software.
The Animation/3D program at Centennial College runs for 16 consecutive months. In that time, it will prepare the students to successfully launch a career in digital animation, film, television, broadcast design and games. Created in 1996, on top of kick-starting the careers of hundreds of talented digital artists, this School of Communications, Media, Arts and Design animation program has an intensive approach that's become internationally recognised. The program focuses on production-style training and will offer a unique project-based learning experience that's applauded within the animation, visual effects and game industries.

The USW Visual Effects & Motion Graphics course enables students to build towards a successful career in the Creative Industries. Graduates from recent years have embarked on their professional development at studios such as DNEG, Framestore, ILM, Bait Studio, Nineteentwenty amongst others. The Film Academy Vienna, also known as the Institute for Film and Television of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), is Austria’s only university institution devoted to education and training in the field of film and filmmaking. Study at the Film Academy is structured as a three-year bachelor of arts program (Bakk.art) followed by a two-year master of arts program (Mag.art) in the areas of specialisation: Digital Art – Compositing, Screenwriting and Dramaturgy, Camera Technology and Cinematography, Producing, Directing, Editing.

The Netherlands Film Academy is the place where you can experiment with new forms of storytelling and new techniques. A whole world of computer options lies before you, allowing you to tell stories through 3D animation. The world is literally at your feet, thanks to close collaboration with international media companies, research labs and universities.
In Visual Effects, you learn to create 3D images on the computer which are then integrated into live-action recordings made on location or in the studio. You become familiar with filming in a green screen studio and learn to use the latest real-time pre-visualisation tools. It makes it possible for film-makers to start experimenting with camera angles, composition, location, et cetera from an early stage in the process. You work closely with directors, screenwriters and others. How do you help shape their ideas and plans? And how do you present your work to them? It all gets covered in this programme. You learn to combine your knowledge of software with an artistic vision for the substance.

The Visual Effects Bachelor program at Westerdals, Kristiania University College, is Norway’s biggest VFX education. Focus is on compositing, VFX supervision and general VFX engineering built on a solid foundation of drawing, photography and colour. Run by some of Norway’s most senior and experienced VFX artists and supervisors, the program has a firm emphasis on being industry centric utilising tools, processes and methology that students will encounter when they enter the industry as professional VFX artists. Being part of the School of Art, Design and Media the VFX program cooperates with other Bachelor programs such as Film and Television, CG Graphics, Script Writing, Acting, Game Design, Art Direction, Sound Design and Music Production to deliver real-life productions that show off both technical and artistic abilities. Students from the program has contributed to productions such as Game of Thrones, Watchmen, Star Trek Discovery, Lost in Space and Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
