What's New

Blender Pack

  • Second open beta of FaceTracker
  • Improved pins and wireframe for retina displays
  • Fixed pinning issues in Blender 2.8-3.3
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements to FaceTracker, FaceBuilder and GeoTracker

In this update, you’ll find the second open beta of our newest FaceTracker for Blender.

Following your feedback we’ve fixed several non-critical bugs in our new face tracking add-on to make your experience even smoother. We couldn’t be more thankful for all your bug reporting and involvement! On top of that, we’ve improved pins and wireframe visibility on Retina displays, so now they should be better to work with.

Key features

And more!

FaceBuilder trial reset

FaceTracker supports only face geometry that has FaceBuilder topology. That means, to create a 3D head with the built-in FaceBuilder module inside of FaceTracker, you would need an active FaceBuilder licence.

To let everyone access all FaceTracker features, including the integrated face building pipeline, in 2024.2 release we reset all FaceBuilder trials while FaceTracker is in public beta. Let nothing stand in your way!

Tutorials

To help you get started, we’ve prepared a thorough written guide on the basics of face tracking. As it has become a good tradition, this release is accompanied by a detailed video tutorial. Finally, for a problem-free installation, you can also use a new short video on KeenTools Blender Pack installation for Blender 4.2.
