The third open beta of FaceTracker has arrived, along with some handy new features!
You can now select, move, and delete multiple pins in all our Blender add-ons, making your tracking workflow smoother than ever. Plus, we’ve added user presets to the Appearance tab for easier customisation of the wireframe and pins.
Along with these updates, we’ve included minor bug fixes and performance improvements to FaceTracker, FaceBuilder, and GeoTracker for Blender.
As always, let us know your thoughts on the new release in this feedback form or by dropping a message to team@keentools.io.
We’re thrilled to announce the public beta of FaceTracker for Blender — our signature face tracking solution has hit the open water and is now available to everyone as a Blender add-on, soon-to-be extension! Get easy access to professional face tracking with custom head meshes generated by the built-in FaceBuilder module right inside of your favourite 3D creation suite. Track faces and seamlessly enhance them with 3D visual effects and simulations — all within Blender!
And more!
FaceTracker supports only face geometry that has FaceBuilder topology. That means, to create a 3D head with the built-in FaceBuilder module inside of FaceTracker, you would need an active FaceBuilder licence.
To let everyone access all FaceTracker features, including the integrated face building pipeline, in 2024.2 release we reset all FaceBuilder trials while FaceTracker is in public beta. Let nothing stand in your way!
To help you get started, we’ve prepared a thorough written guide on the basics of face tracking. As it has become a good tradition, this release is accompanied by a detailed video tutorial. Finally, for a problem-free installation, you can also use a new short video on KeenTools Blender Pack installation for Blender 4.2.
More tutorials on their way!
